Seems that learning history in middle school is anything but boring. These days, students are diving deep into history, using the best of 21st century tools.

Kids are creating projects—documentaries, exhibits, websites, papers, and performances—to explain history. And they compete with other students across the country to showcase what they’ve discovered.

This is what National History Day is all about.

This year, the competition takes place in June in Washington DC.

And this year, Greely Middle School kids are going to be there!

We’re proud of these young historians, and we’re super excited to get a sneak preview of their projects on April 12 at Old Town House.

The theme for NHD 2026 is Revolution, Reaction, and Reform. Students will take us to all corners of the world—Ireland, Czechoslovakia, Russia, South Korea, England, the U.S., and Scandinavia—and show us how they’ve interpreted this timely theme.

Come see what they’ve researched, discovered, and created!

Your donation to help pay for our students to make this trip will be appreciated!
