Bringing Light to the Darkness

During this time of year, we are lucky to live here in North Yarmouth. At dusk, as the sun sets, stars begin to twinkle. And very late at night, the sky is deep and dark and it can be absolutely still, with highway noise several miles distant.

The dark can be beautiful, but it can also feel lonely—even with neighbors around and the busy-ness of the holidays. Maybe even worrisome, when it seems everyone is rushing and pressured.

North Yarmouth Historical would like to offer an alternative. Come join us for a Peaceful Winter Warming at Old Town House as we light up the darkness. We promise a warm gathering with music around our new (well, new to US!) piano, refreshments, and a glass of good cheer. Remember those less fortunate; bring a donation for the Food Pantry.

And everyone is invited to weave a simple star—a God’s Eye—to bring home. A remembrance that community is the brightest light during dark times.

It will be a welcome FOR all, TO all, FROM all of us at NYHS.

See you there.
