This past summer, Norway Savings Bank let us know about a generous offer and a CHALLENGE. In honor of the Yarmouth branch’s 15th anniversary, the bank challenged area residents to vote for one of seven area non profits to receive a share of $2,024. North Yarmouth Historical was one of the seven.
We put the word out to our network of friends and supporters and—oh boy, what a response! Branch Manager VP Maria Edwards let us know that North Yarmouth Historical Society came out on top; we will receive the largest share of NSB’s challenge donation: $935. WOW!
This was wonderful news, and a great boost for us. As we strive to complete the interior of our beautiful Old Town House, all contributions are so very welcome.
NYHS became a customer of Norway Savings Bank back in 2020; we were impressed by their friendly community spirit and solid financial offerings. And NSB was an early supporter of the Old Town House Capital Campaign. We have history with them, and that’s important.
